4-stars for lack of Organic options
Pretty good thin crust Pizza. The real star is their wood fired oven and outdoor patio. Tons of seating here.
Better than many Pizza places, they let you do 1/4 and 1/2 options of their classic options. Decent prices for a 12” at 21 for the spicy pepperoni. I think it was an alright pie; nothing I’d go out of my way for, but a nice option.
Great thin pie cooked in a wood fire oven. I ended up getting the spicy pepperoni. Light covering of cheese mixed with a thin sauced made this a great mix between a New York and Neapolitan style. The larger size could feed 3 or 4 people with the smaller size better for 2 people.
I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with Dimo’s. I grew up right outside New Haven, Connecticut and exclusively eat thin crust, charred Neopolitan style pizza. I also have high expectations for pasta and Italian food for having lived for 20 years in an area that offers incredible options. I haven’t found any pizza in Oregon that I approve of. Funnily enough, I ordered the spicy rigatoni alla vodka instead of pizza since I had just eaten at Frank Pepe’s Pizza in Connecticut this past week. The pasta was as described- spicy, flavorful, hot, and a great portion size. It was a comfort meal and tasted as if it was made specifically for me. Perfect amount of onions and garlic which gave it a homemade family kitchen feel and taste. I would order it again. I enjoyed sitting at the “bar” around the kitchen watching pizza being made. I can’t wait to come back this winter with friends and try the New Haven style pizza which looked incredible and authentic. So thrilled to have found a gem. Thanks guys!
I’m from Brooklyn and let me tell you that I rate this pizza a solid 9.6 on the scale. Crispy like you’ve never seen before. Super high quality ingredients. Owners are super dope. Location has a serious vibe. This is some of the best New Haven style pizza I’ve tried. Super great job y’all.
The first night was super delicious but we went back two days later when they were less slammed and it was way better!!! Superb job y’all
My style of pizza (apizza) New Haven, thin, crispy, light, airy, tons of flavor with the right amount of char! Pasta with vodka sauce is on point, nice kick! A little pricey but worth it considering the quality!
I’ve been frequenting here since 2021. They’ve really improved over this period of time. Even my worst day there, was still pretty good, and they were just slammed that night. It is a char on the crust kind of style here, so if you don’t like that, then maybe hop to another style of pizza place.
The staff is always friendly and accommodating. The ambiance is fun since it’s got an old school vibe and you can watch them make the pizzas from your seat.
Dimo’s is definitely on our list of go to places.
Delicious, giant sliced New Haven style. Definitely smokey, contrasts well with the rich cheese. I found myself unable to stop eating this pizza. Up there with Ranch and Apizza Scholls for sure.
Great food. Dimo’s fries came with a healthy serving of cheese - our 15 month old couldn’t shovel them into his face fast enough! Spicy rigatoni was delicious with the perfect level of heat (though a little pricy!). The Tye Die pizza was good, but not the best pizza I’ve ever eaten.
